We needed our duct work cleaned out and some other HVAC system maintenance. I usually use another company and they quoted me a rather hefty price for what needed to be done so I decided to shop around. Glad I did.
Cool Willy’s is a locally owned company that prides itself on delivering quality service and supporting the local community, something I strongly believe in. Noah and Carlos arrived on time and they got right to work assessing our situation and needs. They were very professional and experienced in their craft. They informed us about everything they were doing, showed us pictures and cleaned up the entire area. AND it was quite a bit cheaper than our usual provider.
We are extremely pleased with the entire experience. I would award them more stars if possible but I will strongly recommend you call Cool Willy’s instead. See for yourself! Heating and Cooling costs are a huge part of homeowners budget and you want to spend those dollars wisely. Thumbs up for Noah, Carlos and Cool Willy’s.

We had an excellent experience with Noah from Cool Willy! He was extremely friendly, informative, and efficient from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do, which we really appreciated. He even wore shoe covers to keep our home clean—such a thoughtful touch. On top of that, he gave my daughter a Cool Willy mascot stuffed animal, which totally made her day. Outstanding service all around. Highly recommend Noah and Cool Willy!

Choosing Cool Willy's Air and Plumbing was the best decision we made. From the initial contact on the phone, the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and so willing to answer any of our questions.
The technician came out for an annual flush of our hot water on demand system. He he was very quick and efficient and answered questions and concerns we had.
Jared came out for our heating maintenance check. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained the condition of our units. He recommended after testing our mini splits that they should be replaced. Since they hadn't been functioning effectively and were old we went with his recommendation.
Cara organized and scheduled the installation. She was so helpful as well. Matthew contacted us prior to the installation to go over all the details. The day of installation Kevin and Bobby handled the installation with ease. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and made sure all our questions were answered.
Finally, Caleb came out to do a quality inspection check on the mini splits that were installed. He troubleshooted any issues we had and made sure we were able to use the system correctly and efficiently.
Cool Willy's Air and Plumbing exceeded our expectations and we look forward to working with them in the future. A+ recommendation

Water bill alerted us to a ~3,000-gallon per day leak in the main from the meter to our house— not visible on the surface. We called Cool Willy’s because they’ve been helpful in the past with our HVAC. John came out to examine the problem and provide an estimate. I asked him if they could follow the line back from the meter & repair the leak. We agreed that if the pipe were steel then we’d abandon and replace, but if PVC then we’d excavate and repair. He tried to scratch the dirt off of the pipe through the hole in the meter box and told me it was galvanized. The quote was $9,350. Then he suggested I join their “club” to get a discount. I agreed to do that, so he made a new quote for $8,415. The work: trench 90 feet from the meter to the house, install the line with a shut-off valve at each end and a new regulator; backfill the trench (no repaving).
I told him that I found the price to be very high. But eager to stop pouring money into the desert, I decided not to get other estimates.
I later called to ask for an invoice showing material and labor breakouts, but John informed me “We don’t usually do itemized costs.” After I pressed him for some kind of rationale he said they charge $100/ft as a flat rate. Comparing with national and state averages I found trenching to a one-foot depth typically runs only $12-$50.
The excellent work crew, Jesus and Luis, came and started excavating the line next to the meter, discovering that the line was in fact PVC. They also discovered the pipe dove straight down four feet about two feet from the meter; likely a result of grading when the house built. They called the office and told me the next steps were up to me. Reluctant to ask the them to dig a four-foot deep trench for 90 feet, I told them to abandon the existing line and dig a new trench per code. They worked diligently and expertly for 2-1/2 days to finish the work. They were friendly and competent, and helped me understand the process as they went.
I’m happy with the outcome and quality of their work and I think Jesus and Luis are to be commended for quality work and customer service.
I do think that John should take more time on his estimates, to make sure he fully understands the job before prescribing a solution. I’ll think twice again about hiring Cool Willy’s for plumbing work in the future. Their failure (and essentially refusal) to provide a detailed breakout of estimated costs on a written estimate prior to start of work smacks of sloppy business practices.
Cool Willy’s was previously called Williamson’s. I have paperwork from them going back more than five years that includes detailed written estimates. I don’t know why they changed their name, nor what else changed in that process, but what I see today is very diligent and responsible work crews, but very shakey estimating and billing practices by the owners. I hope they improve.
